¿What do we do in this workshop?
Jewelry workshops consist of two sessions on different days: in the first one, we start a piece of jewelry from scratch, and in the second one, we finish it so you can take home the silver piece you made!
First Session
This is the most creative part! I'll teach you 3 jewelry techniques using lost wax casting. This technique allows us to create very organic and natural shapes with different finishes, shiny, textured... You'll try them all and choose the one you liked the most to create your final piece.
Once it's finished, we'll cast the piece in silver.
This first session is in a group setting (small groups of 4 people) and will be scheduled on specific dates.
Second Session
The second session is individualized (or for pairs if you come with someone). This part is more technical, allowing me to offer personalized attention. We'll choose the date for this second session based on your availability, making it much more flexible.
During this session, we'll sit at the jeweler's bench to do the finishing touches, resize the ring, solder, set stones, polish, prepare the setting for the stone, etc. This way, you'll learn to work with all the tools in a jewelry workshop.
